The Product Development Operations Research team at Sabre develops and supports the optimization components across many product areas including: airline crew scheduling, airport resource management and operations recovery. Job Description: Designs, implements, tests, and debugs optimization software used to solve complex problems in airline industry. Makes recommendations to improve the design and quality of models. Performs applied research and designs and develops new algorithms and methodologies. Job Requirements Masters in Operations Research, Decision Analysis, Mathematics, Statistics or related field Advanced knowledge in C++/Java and associated development tools 8 years of software development experience with a record of delivering successful products and developing complex optimization algorithm Good communication skills; written and verbal Strong problem solving and analytical skills Desirable skills Experience in simulation, big data management, artificial intelligence and machine learning Experience with optimization solvers (CPLEX, Gurobi) for LP/IP Experience with solving large-scale optimization using decomposition algorithms and other advanced OR techniques for linear and non-linear optimization Experience in Cloud software / platform solution implementation Experience with containerization Multi-threaded application development Why is it worth working with us?
